I won't lie, I didn't know what to expect with this single. There's no boxing DotCom with the music. I'm unsurprisingly impressed though. I love the softness of the track in the thinner elements of the production but that Thug n'B demeanour is alive in the affirmative hook.
DotCom merges his singing with the bars real smooth on here. I hear a continuation of his Hustler's Prayer and more echoes of sentiments of growth that you heard in the Love & Liquor mixtape. Personal song. A victorious one too. All that matters is love and loyalty at the end of it all. Beautiful.
