We hereby caution you to approach carefully as the current scenario yields slaps only!
This, my friend, is the highly anticipated collection of Mash Beatz the producer extraordinaire who has become known for providing soundtracks to a lot of The Wrecking Crew's massacres. As such, The President now delivers his lengthy public speech in the form of a 13 track album. Needless to say, the album is a feast of musical genius borrowed from the undeniable flavours of the whole clique as every member is scattered across the piece.
Opening on a very dreamy, suspenseful, and infectious note with Everything Is Not Enough, that mood prevails well into tracks like the spicy Control Your Emotions where the hypnotic elements in production carry an air of pure confidence and reflection. You also hear this in the song that follows, Less Is More. Giving you the perfect dose of love, fun, pride, and truth, Mash Beatz has outdone himself in orchestrating a connecting session between you and your government - something that doesn't happen in the real world. With the summer time pending, tracks like Nyr, Baby, Can I See You Again, and Smmr' 18 are sure to be sun downer favourites as their light hearted nature bring out the feel good in you. Laced with an undertone of triumph, the Wrecking Crew doesn't forget to share their stories of victory amidst all adversity given the type of alienation and opposition some of their members have undergone in public view. Above and beyond that, they share tales of overcoming negativity together regardless of what naysayers may say.
My favourite thing about this project is how laid back it is, whether the message is a zap sign to the haters, a shout out to the gang-gang, or pure celebration, the mood is consistent and it really allows for the crew to steal your heart as you trinkle down the tracklist. The love bug is worse when you are part of the #tDubClan 'cause your pride is on steroids as you enjoy this well executed album. Words cannot explain how soothing, and equally sophisticated this piece is. Well done to the President and his cabinet for the stellar service delivery.
