Solve The Problem is an aspiring rapper who just released a brand new project titled Summer Blues SZN1. The EP description details how the rapper has grown and how his sound has matured from his previous work. He has a different sound, nothing like most of the music we hear now that's for sure. Each of his tracks tell a different story of his experiences as well as how far he's come with his music as he plans to release a debut album in the coming year. The project has some really good samples with only one guest feature.
First off we have Ode 2 The City, Solve The Problem (we'll call him STP from now on) raps about how he came to Jo'burg and how he's made mistakes but is now learning from them. The track samples MiC LOWRY's Tuxedo which talks about a ride or die relationship. Ode 2 The City also includes a clip from Biggie's Notorious Mc's. All Mine comes in second and with a bouncy beat, has STP rapping about how he wants all that he's working for; the money and the fame doing so in less than two minutes. Track three has the longest title and plays the longest, with seven straight minutes - F#*k It Freestyle/ Members Only/ Buy The Beach Pt1 + 2. You only realise when the second minute passes that STP's been rapping non-stop, the track doesn't even sound like seven minutes that time it's a mash-up of three different songs. The 7am Interlude is a sample from Joyce Wrice's Good Morning and Solve The Problem confesses his love for his lady, sharing that he only wants her and nobody else. Body Bag features Big Hash and is closer to trap than all the other tracks but still has a nice vibe to it. Johnny Blaze is a trippy single named after a fictional character called the Ghost Rider who is widely known for his flaming skull head and STP raps about how he's, "running circles all around the game." This is an impressive project.
