In honour of Youth Month, Deezer got their four Next SA artists to share their soundtracks of youth with them to kick off their youth day message playlist. In the four artists, hip hop is represented in Durban's rising stars Robin Thirdfloor and Raheem Kemet who each select songs that represent youth for them.
Deezer Next is a recently launched global and local program which aims to identify and champion emerging talent, along with providing an avenue to expose emerging artists to new audiences exclusively on the Deezer platform. Last month, Deezer announced its four up-and-coming South African artists, Southern Wild, Dominic Neil, Raheem Kemet and Robin Thirdfloor who will be releasing their projects exclusively on the streaming platform.
Deezer has since featured the likes of Kimosabe who shared his song and message for the youth. Interestingly, he selected his brother's song - ByLwansta's NORMVL STILL - which I find so cool!
