For everybody who's ever been told that they will not amount to anything more than their surrounding. For every kid told to quite making a noise 'cause they aren't talented enough anyway. For every idea you ever got mocked about 'cause for some reason dreaming is an insult to the nonbelievers. Reflections such as these by the "coolest kid in Africa", Nasty C, as he woke up this morning with a reminder about how far he's come and is yet to go. You see, even your favourite rapper is human and they go through struggles to beat the odds. Shy or not, Nasty C is one of the most in-demand rap stars in the country right now. Can you imagine if he believed the people who told him to stop at the very basic level? Hawemah! I can't imagine a life without the kid's music. Thank goodness he never took it all to heart.
