Recently we saw that Emtee's new single, Ghetto Hero, was produced by the legendary Don Laka. What we didn't know, and perhaps see coming, was that Emtee would be on his album. Yup! In celebration of four-and-a-half decades (45 years) in the music industry, Don Laka is releasing a new album with just 6 weeks to go. We're privileged to even get a peak of him in his element rocking to Emtee's contribution to his album. Hip hop truly transcends all barriers, be it music or generations.
Don Laka is one of three Lifetime Achievement honourees at the SAMA's this year, alongside Rebecca Malope and Babsie Mlangeni. What an honour this is for us to experience this.
