“Why Hate is a song that I wrote against hate crimes last year, to protect my family, my friends, my fans and people that I love from being hurt because of who they are” the singer said and added: “I want to promote a foundation for the young people that will never allow them to have an experience like that again. Being black, fat, old, disabled, or even gay aren’t diseases…but homophobia, sexism or racism are.”
