Let's track back to 5 years ago when the SA Hip Hop scene was buzzing with potential for a massive take over and not even we could've imagined that the culture would grow as monumental as it is currently. Even with the kind of strides the culture is seeing right now, it's mad crazy that we are only scratching on the surface. Can you imagine the industry 5 years from now?
Back in 2012 AKA was just getting started with the fuego, Cashtime Fam (when last did you hear that name?) was bossing like crazy, and the new kids on the block were not as "new" as the kind of new kids on the block we see today. Read that slowly... Rick Ross dropped Stay Schemin with Drake and French Montana and much like Young M.A's OOOUUU, this song kinda had that thing back then where a lot of rappers were jumping on it. The Mega, X and Zingah were too much on this joint!
