This is probably the first official South African comedy tape. Okay Wasabi has made humourous video interpretations of songs like Dj Citi Lyt's Vura, Anatii's The Saga and Drake's Hot Line Bling. He's finally dropped a full comedy tape with original material called Lost In Atteridgeville.
The tape is in high spirits and you get to know Okay Wasabi a little bit more outside of the parodies. You hear his creativity while keeping in the back of your mind just the kind of artist he is, a comedy rapper. You will enjoy this though, the beat selection is so classy and Okay is quite smooth on the wax. Especially when the tape gets to that Backroom/Perci's Interlude and Isishebo. He's also got the solo version of Dudla at the end there. Nice work, even though you find yourself laughing at half his lines. I'd say he's achieved what he was trying to do here.
