I can tell you now, you never espedet these sounds from all 4 of these joints. Just wow. I cannot begin to elaborate the maturity, the universalism (if that word is fitting) and the level of transcendence these joints bring. The boys more than outdid themselves on these singles. They are speaking to more than just the hip hop head but the normal South African and African, then beyond even the continent. This is export music. Expensive music!

Start with Makwa6eats' iNamba which is very jazz flavoured and will have you envisioning a slow samba on beach sands somewhere at the backdrop of a sunset and the ocean's whispering waves. Followed by TLT's very Kofifi-slash-Sophiatown influenced Nice Life Problems with a touch of Mbanqanga in the delivery. Ngeke sbali! What of Kid X's Mfazi We Phepha which has this TransAfrican uniqueness to it that is accentuated by the drums and left panned guitar. Yerrr! Enter Kwesta with the heart melting love ode in Ngiyaz'fela Ngawe which is just in time for Valentine's Day. It's Christmas all over again!
