I cannot contain my excitement at the star that Wizkid has become right now. I mean, he's always been THAT guy that drove me crazy with the fresh Afrobeats on my playlist by as far back as 2011 with Superstar already. Now he's an "international flex" and the global music world cannot get enough of him. Case and point, he's literally spent the first half of the year making music overseas with the likes of Drake, Kranium and Ty Dolla $ign Major Lazer, Wale and so much more. He only had his first show within the last month. Hol' up? Can you actually imagine the luxury, as an artist, of not gigging for half a year? LEVELS.
Before I roll into the autobiography of Wizkid, he has shared the tracklist of his upcoming album Sounds From The Other Side and boy is it enticing. He's got Chris Brown, Drake, Major Lazer, my boo Ty Dolla $ign and Young Thug. UWHOA!
Next week this time, I suspect the world will be exploding over this album.
