Please believe me when I say that I actually played this EP again when it ended. It's refreshing. I can't quite box it, ironically. Tia Black is a versatile pop singer whom I fell in love with on Kwesta's High On Life about 3 years ago. On her Little Black Box EP she displays an amazing level of songwriting. She tells the story of her desire for personal freedom very well in catchy melodies and some colourful production. I must say though, she caught me off guard on LitTia when she goes all rap on you. This piece is confident, commanding, hella sexy and very honest. I love it.
