Projects You Should Hear: @LilTrixSA - Zulo EP

By @Spokenpriestess on 02/28/2017 in

Lil Trix drops off his EP Zulo and the opening is all the announcement for potential greatness in its royal stature juxtaposed with that hypnotizing "Hallelujah" vocal somewhere in the song. The project sounds very mature production wise telling you that Lil Trix must be influenced by the 80's/90's hip hop era in one way or the other. The most impressive feat about this EP is that he produced it all by himself.

So much of him is embedded in this project and you hear it the deeper you get into it. You hear his frustrations about his job and the customers he hates, his disparity about how hard he's trying to do well with his career despite many challenges and just life reflections in general. The features on this EP are so fitting and perfect on all the songs, from J.S.K XXVI, Solo, By Lwansta to Ckenz Vocal and Mikhale Jones who wraps up the project so well. ZULO being a combination of his name and surname, you can tell that Lil Trix intended to bleed on his project, and so he did.
