I'm in love. Kimosabe should not be a stranger to you. We've heard him on many a hook, many a production too and he decided to do something special for us in his renewed moniker. The day ones will remember him initially coming out as "Sixfo". Yes, if you ever wondered where that guy went, he blossomed into this musical genius.
The Nights EP is personal, intimate and filled with beautiful influences of RnB and Soul. This is paired with amazing song writing skills and great vocals. There's nothing missing from this piece. If anything, it takes you on a trip into that cool place inside yourself. A breezy summer's afternoon and sunset unfolding right in your ears. I can't pick a favorite but that Inspiration, that Secret Garden switch and Good Woman are my faves. Being a Lwansta fan, you can guess that Good Guys is a standout one for me as well. It's projects like these that give me hope in the future of musicians in my generation.
