Rouge is not playing with you all anymore. It's game time and now she's playing all her lethal cards. You see, never count anyone out by virtue of the fact that they are silent 'cause they're usually working on a masterplan.
We can already see the seeds of that from Rouge as she dropped the trailer for her album's movie and now she shares a brand new single taken off New Era Sessions. That's not all though, this single titled Déjà vu comes with the package of the album's pre-order exposing us to the tracklisting. During a recent interview Rouge did say she has minimal features on the album 'cause she wanted the focus to be on her. With a few more vernac song titles added to her catalogue, I'm really curious about how far we are with those Tswana or Zulu raps. I can't wait to get my hands on the album to hear what she's done particularly since her intention with the album was to explore her authentic African voice and heritage with a new wave of music for a transformed generation.
But get this, the album's movie debuts on TV on the 7th of September right, then she plans to have an album launch the next day. WAIT! The music video for Déjà vu is also due tomorrow on TV. I mean? Is this is a masterplan or what? It's gonna be an interesting summer!
