As we gear up for the release of Cassper's third album, he's gone ahead and shared the tracklist with us as the album is now available for pre-order. We all know by now, Thuto is his elder sister and this piece is dedicated to her. The back cover is a photo of her, that she took (since she's a photographer). But what's intriguing is the subtle storyline threaded in the track list. The pressures of her relation to Cassper and who she is in life is carried through all the tracks. A dedication of love, strength and gratitude to say that he sees her and she sees him better than anyone else out there ever will. You'll also hear it in the album once it drops. The elements of reflection throughout. A noble, beautiful ode this is.
Family Tree says physical copies will be in store on the 5th of May. I think I heard that Destiny featuring Goapele at the Family Tree Store launch two days ago. In fact, Dr Peppa was sampling some tracks from the album. I've got FOMO now.
