KrossWord is a rapper from Kimberley in the Northern Cape. In 2013 he released an album titled “The Diamond Rush” which featured SA music heavy weights like Kabomo, Proverb and RJ Benjamin just to mention a few. At the time he was signed to Goliath Music but Unfortunately the relationship with Goliath Music didn’t last long and they agreed to cut ties without the album being properly released and marketed.
In working towards his vision, he was one of the semi-finalists for the 2014 Jack Daniels Scouts Talent search ran by Metro FM and is now a reality show star from the DSTV Channel 161 (Mzanzi) on the Bootcamp Mzansi: Celebrity Edition.
KrossWord's brand is strategically placed to target the central region, a place which he believes is the next gold mine for talent in the entertainment business. He currently holds the record for most number 1's in the top 40 in his hometown radio station. His album, highly anticipated in the central region, has been live on iTunes and available for physical purchase.
His new music video is for his single "Wetsang" which is very popular in his hometown and surrounding areas. He recently released a new single for radio titled "Mantshabi" which he hopes will be big this festive season.
