We sat down with South African-Namibian rapper Stanzo to talk about his music flavour, where he draws his inspiration from and who he listens to. It's quite interesting that he's not plugged into other artists which makes me wonder about what kind of influences he has when he's in the production process.
He also raises a very valid point about having record label execs who are not limiting in their approaches with new artists in the label. I think idealistically that would be great and it would definitely be something to look forward to in future. Stanzo's got new music on the ropes and we'll be looking out for that too.
