I swear, it's exclusive to say that certain individuals had a great year because in actual fact when you look at it, it's been a rather progressive year for SA Hip Hop as a whole. The industry is wide open right now. We sure are on the right path.
That being said, DJ Sliqe won a SAMA as the first SA Hip Hop DJ ever to take home the Remix of the Year gong for Do Like I Do Remix. Isssshuuuu! He also dropped his debut album Injayam Vol. 1 which I'll say is a smash. THEN he joined the Touch Central roster for his show No Holds BARS. Ai saba!
