We got a chance to sit with the beautiful Shekhinah after Slikour finally paid her, shuu! She told us about signing with Sony and how she now feels ready to drop her upcoming twelve-track album with them. The songstress dropped some names on who to expect on her album and also spoke about the process that went into putting the project together.
You really can't deny that her star has risen over the years, she's come a long way and to see her collaborating with stars like Jason Derulo is not only big for her but for SA music as well. She spoke about the vocalists she admires and her dream of one day writing music for other artists. Shekhinah hopes that her new single Suited will help her gain her individual recognision. The interview switched to prepping for Siya's wedding which Shekhinah will be performing at. As beautiful as she is, we also needed to focus on paying attention to what she was saying, as well as Siya's freestyling.
