We spoke to our October underdog winner, Lorreta, out at Cantare over a week ago. She happens to be the first lady to bag this win which is very impressive given that she's only been musically active for the past 3 months. What's that about being born for this?
She's a star. Very loveable and hella gorgeous too. She also knows who her greats are channeling the likes of Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu as her inspiration. I would keep my eye on her going into 2017.
