No, @WTF_DBN Is Not Breaking Up

By @Spokenpriestess on 05/17/2017 in

Witness The Funk notes with great concern the rumours that the group has broken up, we want to put it on record that #WTF is still together working on new music.

Moshine has not been well, he was diagnosed with Bi-Polar and has been receiving treatment. The exact cause of bipolar disorder isn’t known, but a combination of genetics, environment and altered brain structure and chemistry may play a role.

Manic episodes may include symptoms such as high energy, reduced need for sleep and loss of touch with reality.

Depressive episodes may include symptoms such as low energy, low motivation and loss of interest in daily activities. Mood episodes last days to months at a time and may also be associated with suicidal thoughts.

Treatment is usually lifelong and often involves a combination of medications and psychotherapy.

Auxcable & Efelow have been very supportive to Mosh, the guys however had to take him home at some point because his condition was getting worse so as to allow him to rest and focus on his health hence he has not been playing an active role in the activities of the group because of his health.

WitnessTheFunk has been speaking to global and local institutions who deal with mental health to help bring light to this matter. As young people who have had to deal with a friend who is not well, we feel that not enough is being done to bring light to this matter and we would like to make a call for help to any institution who can help to bring light to this matter and help others.

Those who can help us expose the issue of mental health in order to help others can contact management on +27 81 282 5970 or email jimmy@witnessthefunk.co.za
