Music: @Wale - Groundhog Day ( @JColeNC Response)

By @Spokenpriestess on 12/05/2016 in

J Cole's two new tracks False Prophets and Everybody Dies addresses a few issues that bother him, including Kanye West's spiraling, OG's who refuse to let go and every rapper who's name starts with "Lil". While the streets were going buck over the heat, Wale caught some feelings over Cole's second verse on False Prophets:

"I got a homie, he a rapper and he wanna win bad/He want the fame, the acclaim, the respect that's been had/ By all the legends, so every time I see him, he stressin'/ Talkin' 'bout, n!#as don't fuck with him, the shit is depressin'"

Now, in Wale's Groundhog Day he actually acknowledges that Cole has a point and he almost explains himself, his stance and how he's feeling too. If anything, it's not beef but an instance of reflection sparked by another brother on wax. I like this.
