Well this is a pleasant surprise. One of the queens of rap, Missy Elliott dropped a surprise track (almost) accompanied by a music video. CANDY FOR THE FANS I SAY!
She and Lamb come through on I'm Better which is not far from her Get Ur Freak On vibe, only fast-forwarded by the years. The visual is choreographed by her and Sean Bankhead. They did a stellar job on this one, the hanging dance scenes kinda remind me of a clip from the movie Honey with Tweet shooting an alien inspired music video. My memory eludes me now. The transition between the scenes is so crazy, the water pit that flows into a pool has me going "whooooah" like a silly child.
Anyway, Missy's planning to drop a documentary later this year and I think that's definitely something to look forward to.
