Blaq Slim x Boolz are two cats in Cape Town that I have had the luxury of seeing their stars slowly rise in terms of music. I remember Blaq Slim hit me up wanting to shoot a music video and wanted advice on how he can get a brand to sponsor the video. My words to him were own your own narrative and do it on your own terms then the brands will come.
Something tells me that he listened to my advice cause this "Man Of The Year" music video is rightly that. Its the attitude of being your own boss x doing things your own way x riding in your own lane.
