Some of you may remember this name from the first season of Vuzu Hustle, one of the few female rappers who went on the show to compete with the guys for the prize money and an opportunity to break through. She goes by the name Genius Illusion and her track is titled One On One.
The track is actually off of her Beyond Colour EP which dropped just recently. She caught my attention not because she's a female rapper, but because she has mad bars. One On One is a track that has her completely vulnerable and asking for somebody to talk to, which has her venting on the track. Cleaning out the skeletons in her closet, she addressed everything that's been bothering her; from fake people right through to not being able to reach her potential. Dope that she also produced this piece, mad tune.
