"Omdat ek KULLID is" - is both a Question and a Statement. As Linkris speak's about socials ills in the 1st verse and also details some extremely personal life events in the 2nd verse. In this song, he asks the question: "am I and my people cursed with all these challenges because of the fact we are Cape Coloured?" Yet in the same breath he makes a BOLD STATEMENT to say, we do overcome and survive these life obstacles because WE ARE COLOURED! This song is intended to highlight and salute all Coloured people of South Africa and abroad.
