" A couple of years back I introduced to the game what I didn't know would become industry standard procedure for bands in Hip Hop and would see it adopted by KO, Aka, Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana to name a few in their live sets. 3Piece: DJ, Keys and Synth Bass. I wanted to find a way of adding live element without the acoustic feel that takes away from the new post modern sound of synths and 808s. To add to that I found that a lot of rappers wanted to sing live but could never get it right... Especially because a lot of rappers aren't singers, so I added the voice modification input used mostly by Kanye during his 808 and Heartbreaks tour. I put @masteraflat on keys and @refentse_chauke of Muzart on Synth Bass... And what an AMAZING feel it gave to the songs. I will always stand to be 1 step ahead and at the forefront of reinvention to produce and present new dimensions to this ever changing SA music industry. This month we launch the "Post Modern Live Feature" which brings live music further into the technological era of the 21st Century.
