The waiting is over: superstar rapper Nicki Minaj touches down today, (Wednesday 16th March) for the South African leg of her Pinkprint Tour, which will set Johannesburg’s Ticketpro Dome ablaze this Thursday and Friday before blowing away Durban and Cape Town.
Tickets are selling out fast and fans of the Anaconda hitmaker will have to rush to secure their seats for one of the most spectacular live events to hit South African stages this year, says David Airey, of tour promoters Airey Scott Entertainment.
“This is quickly shaping up to be the show of the year – judging by the response to Nicki’s international dates so far, it’s going to be phenomenal. Fans are strongly urged to go and snap up the few remaining tickets before it’s too late,” Airey adds.
Nicki Minaj’s South African tour kicks off with a spectacular bang at the Ticketpro Dome this Thursday, 17 March and Friday, 18 March 2016.
She then heads to Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium this Sunday, 20 March 2016 before wrapping up her live love affair with South Africa at Cape Town’s Grand West Arena on Tuesday, 22 March 2016.
Grammy nominee Minaj will be performing her biggest hits, including Anaconda, Super Bass, Starships, Pills & Potions, Bed of Lies, The Night is Still Young and many more. Local hip-hop supremo Cassper Nyovest will open for Minaj during her Jo’burg and Durban concerts.
