I started my morning with this song and I think the ancestors opened the gates for my spirit to cruise through the day. You gotta respect Aewon Wolf's African pride in all he does. He stays looking out for his people and with Bambelela he decided to dive right into keeping up authentic South African sounds with the influence of some afro-pop and mbaqanga infused into this song. He got me feeling so in love.
You would forget that this song is about trust in relationships and will instead dance your heart away 'cause that's what Mnqobi's crooning urges you to do. Wow. This is so refreshing. How they managed to fuse so many elements and instruments on this song makes my heart smile so much. The drums, the soft piano and the melodies are too much for my overflowing heart to contain.
