This is sheer magic, and impeccable timing. We were just talking about the need for Hip Hop to accommodate women and their natural growth through a perspective sparked by fellow kindred spirit Ms Supa. She was saying that female emcees need to share stories of of their maturity, including pregnancy, more and that it's okay to be a grown woman and still love hip hop. We see Zambia's rap queen Cleo Ice Queen in her visual for Soldier which celebrates the Afrikan male figure who loves, protects and is a hero to their families and women. She's rocking her 6 month glow so proudly and she's still got the juice in the raps and that choreography too! We need more displays of such. What a vibe! Congratulations on your new blessing Cleo.
