When I first heard this song, I thought how beautiful it is of her to reassure her step child that she loves her to the moon and back despite all the drama that might have transpired when she married Swizzy. It's more so cool 'cause blended families exist all over the world today. Nonetheless, with rave reviews for her new album Here, she performs Blended Family with Young M.A live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. A full circle moment for Alicia too as she shared with Jimmy how she first met The Roots who accompany her in the performance. Magic.
