Zimbambwe stand up! I absolutely vibe with this song and it's message in particular. Those who know me know how much I love exploring Afrikan hip hop (yes, I write my Afrika with a "k"). Zimbabwean hip hop is one of my favourites 'cause of the intriguing Shona stories the artists usually tell, that along with the signature Mbira that often features in their production. Lord Piper comes through on Magariro telling the tale of how people always wish for a better lifestyle and the lengths they would go to to see themselves at those places. Colleta brings a lovely balance to this dramatic beat. Flavour!
