In part 2 of our conversation with Yanga we talk to him about how he managed to crack a relationship with Nike. He also tells us about how he listens to music, and how his attention shifts occasionally when he listens to music. Slikour and Yanga revisit their bets on which artist they thought would pop 7 years ago. We're living in a different time where no one can correct predict which way the trends in anything, especially music, will go. And so, they deliberate on Migos, Lil Uzi Vert and the current generation of new artists who can potentially grow.
We briefly revisit the prospect of his album before we tap into this "Magic City Monday" world. It sounds like it's popping there, we also wanna see Mntase.
