In part 2 of our sit down with Cassper Nyovest we open with his thoughts on not being counted in BET's Best International Act: Africa this year. Then, he takes us through how he deals with situations like that that remove him from all the good things that are happening in his career at present. We can all attest that it takes a great effort to constantly be the bigger man and to master such discipline to let positivity govern your way of life. A page we can rip from his book.
We get into the making of Thuto, his headspace when making it, and what it took to reach into the essence of himself as a story teller on this album. The story of how Superman came to life is chilling stuff and we really need to have that talk about the whole album 'cause we want to know the story of each song's making. As the album dropped he was off to London for the One Africa Fest, which he killed. I know we're patiently waiting for news on Filling Up FNB Stadium but let's hold that thought while we push Thuto. A small tour might be on the cards though, so look out for that in your area soon 'cause he's already started with album celebrations in various clubs and venues!
