This is officially our last Balcony Interview of 2016 and what a fitting way to wrap up the year. It has undoubtedly been a strong year for the independent artist and this trio is testament that anything is possible with a little aggression in your push and of course creative application of your mind.
Breeze, Inseezy and MX, all solo artists from Durban pulled their resources, time and talents together to journey on a semi national tour that saw them kick off in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, then head to Pretoria and Johannesburg. We chat to them about how this tour actually came together, the hip hop scene in Durban and what challenges they face as upcoming artists in getting themselves out there. Quite insightful.
