DaKAR's first American show will be at SXSW and he's headlining! But that's not all, upcoming artist from Umlazi, Robin Thirdfloor, will also be showcasing at the world renowned festival.
Now, when I first saw that Robin Thirdfloor had made the annual international music festival SXSW (South By Southwest) - which is hosted in Texas, USA - I was mad excited for the boy. I also immediately asked myself how in the world he got a slot in the line up 'cause the last artist to headline last year was K.O. He owes this feat to the internet, but also many trials of him and his team constantly knocking on their door till someone opened. I couldn't be more excited for him. Shout out to Post Post Music and IMEXSA (Independent Music Export South Africa), an organisation that helps fund artists who need to go overseas, for believing in the kid and supporting him.

Can you imagine the pride when you're looking at the multinational line up of artists and you see "Katlehong, South Africa, Africa" on there too? Crazy! He will be headlining at two stages on the 17th and then the 18th of March in Austin, Texas as well.
